School newsletters have the information you need.

They just make you work too hard to find it.

School Scoop gives the quick skim, action items, reminders, Smart Calendar and year-level updates so you can see what matters to your family without rereading every notice.

How it works

1 Find your school

Search by school name, suburb or postcode.

2 Get the newsletter summary

We pull out the newsletter snapshot and top key dates. Premium adds action items, reminders and family-specific updates.

3 Keep it coming

Add your email. We show the exact next step for your school before anything starts.

Set it up once. Get the important school updates without rereading every newsletter.

What parents get

✨ FULL SCHOOL SCOOP

The useful bits from the newsletter, pulled to the top

School Scoop turns long newsletters into the three things busy parents need first: what to do, what matters for your child, and what belongs in the calendar.

Need to Know

Forms, payments, permission slips and things to bring are pulled to the top before they get buried.

🎯
Year-level News

Your child's year-level updates are separated from the rest of the newsletter, so you can ignore the noise.

🔔
Tomorrow Reminders

Get one short email the day before forms, excursions, dress-up days, schedule changes and things to bring.

📅
Smart Calendar

Useful dates land on your phone calendar, with reminders for forms, excursions and schedule changes.

One school year of fewer forgotten forms, dates and dress-up days.

Try three newsletters first. Search for your school, add your email, and get three summarized newsletters without a card. Premium is $49/year or $16/term after that if you want the full tools to keep going. Yearly saves $15, about 23%, compared with term-by-term.

For School Leaders & Principals

School Scoop helps your newsletter actually reach families. You spend time writing useful information. We make sure parents read it. There is nothing for your school to set up, no admin work, and no changes to your publishing process.

Schools using School Scoop report fewer front-office questions about dates and events, because parents already have the information in their calendar.

"Fantastic! I think summarising it will mean the important information gets out there to families."

School principal, inner north

That principal heard about School Scoop from a parent in his community before we ever contacted the school.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do the first three newsletters work?

Start with your school and email. We send short parent snapshots from public newsletters so you can decide whether School Scoop is useful for your family.

How do you get the newsletter?

We monitor your school's newsletter automatically. You never need to forward anything. When a new newsletter is published, our purpose-built reading engine detects it and sends your personalised digest with the dates, forms, things to know, and updates that matter.

Is this affiliated with my school?

No. School Scoop is an independent service built by parents. We are not endorsed by, sponsored by, or formally connected to any school. We simply read publicly available newsletters and summarise them for families.

What if I can't find my school?

Search for any Australian school by name. We scan thousands of schools and automatically detect their newsletter. If yours isn't set up yet, we'll find and add it when you search. No links or manual steps needed.

What about the calendar?

School Scoop includes useful dates pulled from the newsletter in a clear list. Premium adds one-tap calendar add, Smart Calendar auto-sync, Tomorrow Reminders, and calendar/reminder options where available.

Will summaries get things wrong?

Occasionally, yes. Automated summarisation is useful but not perfect. Every digest includes a direct link to the full original newsletter so you can always check. We also run quality checks on every summary before it goes out.

Can my family members see this too?

Yes. Forward the digest to anyone, or share key points in your class WhatsApp group. Family members who want their own personalised digest can sign up with their own email.
